It enshrines Xiahai Chenghuang (the City God) and is also known for Yue Lao, the matchmaking deity. Easy to visit while walking Dihua Street; cats may appear near the entrance, but sightings are not guaranteed.

  1. From Taipei Main Station, take the MRT to Beimen or Zhongshan.
  2. Walk toward Dihua Street Section 1 in the Dadaocheng area (about 10–15 minutes).
  3. Look for Taipei Xiahai City God Temple at No. 61 on Dihua Street Section 1.
