I returned to Bangkok from Luang Prabang.

My flight to Tokyo was scheduled for 23:10 tomorrow night.

I stayed one night at VIC3 Bangkok.
The room was clean and the location was convenient.

However, the hotel didn’t allow a late checkout,
so I suddenly had quite a long gap before my night flight.

So I started looking for a place where I could work and take a short rest.

Somewhere I could work, take a shower, and maybe even nap for a bit.

While searching, I found a place that caught my attention.

A hostel called MOVYLODGE.

It was close to the hotel I was staying at,
and also conveniently located for getting to Suvarnabhumi Airport.

I wasn’t planning to stay overnight,
but I decided to book a bed so I could work and take a short rest.

Since I only needed a nap, I chose a dormitory bed.

The price was about $12 USD, which felt quite affordable.

The Atmosphere at MOVYLODGE

As soon as I walked in,
I noticed how clean and stylish the place was.

The staff were incredibly warm. The moment I checked in —

“This place. Yeah. This is it.”

The hotel before was clean.
But I only spoke to someone at the front desk.

Here, the staff just naturally start talking to you.
The whole atmosphere felt relaxed and friendly.

There was something easy about this place — like it suited me.

Working in the Cafe Space

I ordered a cafe latte and decided to start with a bit of work.

There are several spaces inside the building where you can sit and work,
and it’s a calm environment that makes it easy to focus.

It felt like a perfect place to spend some time before heading to the airport.

A Short Nap in the Dormitory

After working for a while, I headed to the dormitory to rest.

Climbing a narrow staircase, I found a row of simple beds.

Since I only planned to lie down for a short time,
it was more than enough.

I took a shower and had a short nap.

After waking up, I did a little more work before leaving.

Heading to Suvarnabhumi Airport

When it was time, I headed to the airport.

Even though it was only time before my flight home,
it felt like I had unexpectedly discovered a really good place.

For anyone in Bangkok looking for a place where they can have

“a place to work + a shower + a short rest,”

MOVYLODGE might be a great option.

Being able to take a shower before the flight was especially nice.

It turned out to be a very comfortable place to spend some time before heading home.

I’d definitely like to come back again.

After that, I headed to Suvarnabhumi Airport and flew back to Tokyo.
